The Indianapolis Art Center is proud to showcase creations from teaching artists who facilitate its more than 900 yearly classes and programs.
Opening Reception: Friday, October 12, 6-9:30 pm
Exhibition On Display: October 12-November 25, 2018
Get to know the Teaching Artists who facilitate our over 900 yearly programs and classes through this annual exhibition. From painting and glass to ceramics, mixed media and drawing, this show features a vibrant cross section of the people who make the Art Center a place of creation, learning and sharing: our faculty.
Along with the Annual Faculty Show exhibition there will be a collection of kaleidoscopes on exhibit from Bob Anker, the Best of Student Show winner, ceramics artist Robin Rossman and an exhibit featuring work by the Art Center Teaching Artist Debbie Kirby, the recipient of the 2018 Skip McKinney Faculty Award.
Adding to the exciting night, the faculty exhibition takes place the same evening and is a destination of Broad Ripple Village Association’s Fall Art Walk. After the walk, community members are invited to the BRVA’s after party at the Art Center from 8:00pm—9:30pm. Finally, the IAC will be hosting local arts nonprofit Primary Colours’ event Installation Nation the same night.
