Abstract / figurative acrylic paintings portraying the unceasing, perceptive gaze of resiient women by artist Gerburg Garmann.
Resilience -the capacity to return to the original shape after being twisted or stretched. In order to overcome many traditional obstacles placed in their way, women often need even more resilience than men. Gerburg Garmann uses vibrant color to portray women’s resilience in overcoming adversity and defeat, an essential strength to deal with what is thrown at them every day. Face after face, Garmann creates a strong and resilient sisterhood through the women’s unceasing, perceptive gaze.
