Jennifer Haupt, author of In the Shadow of 10,000 Hills

Presented by JCC Indianapolis at Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center (JCC Indy)

A Community Reads event. Readers and book clubs in and around Indianapolis will be looking forward to meeting this acclaimed journalist and author after having read her novel In the Shadow of 10,000 Hills. This sweeping family saga spans the turmoil of Atlanta during the Civil Rights Movement through the struggle for reconciliation in post- genocide Rwanda. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Haupt has been a journalist for over 25 years, writing primarily about women prompted by their own depression and grief to reach out and help others to heal.

Haupt will be in conversation with Mike Williams of The Indianapolis Public Library.
