Angela Himsel’s memoir, A River Could be A Tree explores, with warmth, humor and insight, the question “How does a woman who grew up in rural Indiana as a fundamentalist Christian end up a practicing Jew in New York City?” Told with a multitude of religious and philosophical views, A River Could Be A Tree, traces a seemingly impossible journey of faith, family, and friendship.
