Photographer John Siskin explores the human form using a combination of ninetieth, twentieth and twenty-first century techniques in his new series.
John Siskin’s photography exhibition, Courting Chaos, features new images exploring the human form (including some nudity). Using an 11″x14″ camera and applying a combination of nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first century technology and techniques, Siskin creates a chaotic environment that alters viewers’ perceptions of the subjects.
Complimentary snacks and beverages will be available at the First Friday reception. Guests can also tour Indiana Landmarks Center at 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis. Built as a Methodist church in the nineteenth century, the restored and adapted structure holds theaters and a reception hall in addition to the gallery and Indiana Landmarks’headquarters.
