The 2018 Winter Art Sale is a NEW take on a classic Art Center event. On December 1 & 2 our galleries will be transformed into an indoor artisan sale where students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to sell their artwork, wares and artisanal goods to the Indianapolis community. Guests are invited to spend the two days shopping, decorating cookies, playing games, and enjoying warm drinks by the Ruth Lilly Library fireplace. Art activities, entertainment, and refreshments will also be available throughout the event. 

The Winter Fest Art Sale also coincides with the Winter Fest Pop-Up Workshops, occurring the same weekend. These workshops are designed to offer something to everyone in the broader community, with classes focusing on more than traditional Christmas fare. Types of pop-ups offered emphasize ornament-making, family portraits, hand-printed greeting cards, capturing Winter landscapes, and more.  

The Art Sale is open for the general public to attend. Winter Fest Pop-Ups costs range from $25-$60, and interested parties are encouraged to register via the Art Center website or by contacting Indianapolis Art Center’s Guest Services (317.255.2464).

Artists, creators, and makers of all kinds are encouraged to apply to participate and sell their wares! All mediums and crafts are welcome and could include anything from paintings & ceramics to greeting cards & handmade personal care items. This sale is non-competitive and non-juried.
