World War II Training Films

Presented by Garfield Park Arts Center at Unknown

Film historian Eric Grayson screens a series of World War II training films at the Garfield Park Arts Center, Saturday, November 10. Seen today, he said, many of them are very funny because they were always accompanied by a flat narration reminding everyone of the obvious. He added that this is a selection of rare original training films, things seldom seen since the end of the war.

“There will be some laughs, some education, and I hope a lot of awe for what we did during the war.” Real film on real projectors, as always.

Grayson will introduce the program and conduct a Q&A afterwards. Free parking. Admission $5. Concessions $1. Family-friendly. For more information, visit www.gpacarts.org or call 317.327.7135.
