Pressing On: The Letterpress Film - Film Screening & Discussion

View the documentary, “Pressing On: The Letterpress Film,” that describes the 500-year-old craft of letterpress, a form of printing using moveable type and printing presses. Following the showing, the film’s creators will discuss their project intended to capture the art and technology of letterpress and to preserve important voices in this craft for future generations. This program is made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities and by Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. This program will be held in Central Library’s Clowes Auditorium.
