The Indianapolis Men’s Chorus (IMC) will present three performances of its “Making Spirits Bright!” holiday concert on Dec. 14-15.

The Indianapolis Men’s Chorus will be making spirits bright on December 14th and 15th at the Marian University Theatre during their 29th annual Christmas spectacular concerts. “This year’s show will amaze every member of the family, at any age,” said Greg Sanders, IMC Artistic Director. “Kicking off our 29th season, ‘Making Spirits Bright!’ will feature a wide variety of holiday favorites from the tap-dancing ‘Parade of the Wooden Soldiers’ to both sacred and secular music. You’ll even hear tunes from the Broadway smash, ‘A Christmas Story.’ And of course, new music from the popular Jane Lynch album, ‘A Swingin’ Little Christmas.’”

Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14 and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Marian University Theatre, 3200 Cold Spring Road. Reserved seat tickets are $15–$25. The mission of the 55-member volunteer chorus, which was founded in 1990, is to entertain, educate, and promote inclusive community through musical excellence. In recent years, the IMC has shared the stage with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Butler University Chorale, Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, Purdue Varsity Glee Club, and Indianapolis Children’s Choir. The IMC also performs at community, civic, and religious events each year, including Penrod Arts Fair and Spotlight.
