Gluck’s (1714-1787) Vieni a ‘regni del riposo – Orfeo ed Euridice, G. Gershwin’s (1898-1937) Love Duet – Porgy and Bess, G. Verdi’s (1813-1901) Storm Chorus – Otello, J. Offenbach’s (1818 – 1880) Neighbors’ Chorus – La jolie Parfumeuse, J. Armenta’s (1989) Ice Shall Cover Nieveeh, R. Leoncavallo’s (1858-1919) Chorus of the Bells – Pagliacci, C. Nicolai’s (1810-1849) O süsser Mond – The Merry Wives of Windsor, R. Wagner’s (1813-1883) Sailor’s Chorus – Act I – The Flying Dutchman, C. Ground’s (1818-1893) Waltz – Ainsi que la brise légère – Faust, A. Sullivan’s (1814-1900) selections from The Mikado, and G. Puccini’s (1814-1924) Finale Ultimo – Turandot.

Indianapolis Opera’s Chorus of 40 is comprised of professional operatically-trained singers, conducted by Chorus Master John Schmid, and accompanied by professional pianist, Rebecca Edie.

Tickets:

Performances are Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, February 10, 2019, at 3 p.m. at the Basile Opera Center. Tickets can be purchased online at indyopera.org, by calling 317.283.3531, by mail, and in person at the Basile Opera Center, 4011 N. Pennsylvania St.

Ticket prices are $25.00. Student tickets are $20.00.
