“Latest Impressions by Anna Afshar” , watercolors by Russian-born Hoosier Anna Afshar.  Painting ‘en plein air’, creating her spontaneous paintings full of bright color, she often portrays street scenes throughout Indiana, and in Stuttgart, Paris, and Rome.  Her paintings are spontaneous and capture the moment.  Her art is found in homes and private collections around the world.  Afshar is a  signature member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana, the Hoosier Salon, and the Indiana Artists club.  Awards include ‘Best of Show’ at the WSI 2015 annual juried exhibit at the IMA.
