In this lecture titled “Creative Impact: Equity in Information and Experience Design”, Jessica Bellamy will discuss her experiences operating at the intersection of community organizing, information design, research, and experience design.
She will also share six principles of conscious and responsible design and the tools necessary to be a successful agent of change, along with various case studies.

ABOUT JESSICA BELLAMY
Jessica Bellamy is a motion infographic designer, a 2017 Adobe Creative Resident, and the founder of GRIDS, the Grassroots Information Design Studio. As an award-winning designer, Bellamy tells visual stories using data and personal narratives. She started her design career working with nonprofits and community groups to create compelling explainers that break down complex service and policy information. Bellamy graduated from the University of Louisville with multiple bachelor’s degrees in drawing, graphic design, and Pan-African studies.
