For eleven years Indianapolis printmaker James Hubbard has been creating fantasy landscapes & seascapes that capture a world untethered by gravity. Hubbard’s passion for the creative process and the natural world is clearly displayed in these linocut, pochoir, intaglio, and mixed media artworks reminiscent of Japanese ukiyo-e and American Arts and Crafts Era printmaking.

Meet the artist at the Open House on the afternoon of Sunday May 5th, view the award winning art and tour the newly renovated art galleries and gift shop housed in Sugar Creek Art Center, once home to a rural garment factory.
