Contemporary art exhibit with a portion of proceeds benefiting Family Voices Indiana.
Art on Main Gallery is delighted to announce “Art for Autism” featuring colored pencil artist Sandi Hauanio (Instagram : @9housedesign) and contemporary quilter Jen Broemel (jenbroemel.com).
The mission is very personal to resident artist Sandi Hauanio who has two nephews on the spectrum and is a firsthand witness to the daily struggles affecting autism families.
This opening reception will coincide with Carmel’s second Saturday Gallery Walk and monthly “Meet Me on Main” event on 13th April, 2019 from 6-9pm. (with a a sensory friendly hour from 5-6pm for guests with special needs).
The Gallery will donate a portion of sales proceeds to benefit two local organizations who assist Indiana families that have loved ones with special needs; No Label at the Table and Family Voices Indiana.
The evening will also include a silent auction with works donated by local artists some of whom are autistic. ALL proceeds from the silent auction will be donated
“Art for Autism” will be on display from 2nd April and will run throughout the month.
