Freetown Village Presents "The Madam Walker Story"

Presented by Freetown Village at Central Library

In honor of Madam C.J. Walker’s great achievements and contributions, Freetown Village, Inc. brings you a one-woman performance through “different” eyes.

This free, interactive family-friendly performance is approximately 30 minutes and will repeat between the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Make plans to spend part of your First Fridays (or a few Saturdays!) to hear an amazing story of one of America’s first self-made millionaires and the rich legacy she created for women, African Americans, and Indianapolis. After the performance, be sure to check out the many branch and online resources on Madam C.J. Walker and other great achievers.
