Youngsters, ages three to eight years of age, are introduced to the pop music of the times of William Shakespeare and Christopher Columbus in a Saturday morning concert.
Every year parents, aunts and uncles, neighbors, and grandparents scoop up the children around them and introduce them to the fore-runners of the instruments they hear today such as the crumhorn, sackbut, oud, and many more. A lively morning of squeaks, squeals and wiggles ends with the children coming on stage to get up close and personal with the instruments. This concert will be performed by the members of the Baltimore Consort.
Tickets are free for all in attendance. Reservations are not necessary.
