This May’s Central Indiana chapter’s theatre organ concert will be the second installment in a series called Music and Motoring, celebrating the ingenuity of cars and music in the early 20th century. Come and see some classic cars in the Warren Performing Arts Center parking lot and afterwards enjoy an automotive themed concert by Pierre Fracalanza on the 3/18 Barton Theatre Organ in the WPAC auditorium. This year, Pierre will continue combining the automotive theme with some wonderful songs, but the focus will turn to automotive advertising. The logos, decals, drive-ins and automotive jingles will make for a fascinating journey from Detroit to Madison Avenue. As always, there will be plenty of surprises.
