Joyful Sound Community Handbell Choir presents a concert of music to welcome in spring! Pieces include sacred works, such as Now the Green Blade Riseth, to secular pieces from decades past, such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Misty. Also featured will be several original compositions for handbells. Joyful Sound rings six octaves of handbells and six octaves of handchimes. Joyful Sound’s mission is to promote the art of English handbell ringing through performance, education, and community outreach.
