The exceptional art, fine craft and small-batch foods that thousands of Hoosiers have discovered at the annual Indiana Artisan Marketplace will be available daily at the new Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery store opening May 1 in Carmel, Indiana.

The store is located at 22 North Range Line Road. A grand opening is being planned for May 11 during Meet Me On Main, the Arts District’s monthly gallery walk. Store hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. There are several public parking locations near the store.

ARTIST DEMONSTRATION New Carlisle potter, Steven Skinner, will demonstrate how he makes his brilliantly glazed, functional stoneware.

ARTIST MEET & GREET Larry Hampton, an Evansville watercolorist, whose subjects are cars and other transportation, will have a solo show, “Start Your Engines,” in the North Gallery.
