With Artistic Director Deborah Asante at the helm along with a multi-talented team of teaching artists, this is a must-see for the entire family. This production will run for one weekend with 4 SHOWS ONLY June 27th, 28th and 29th at 8pm and June 30th at 4pm at new location – Warren Performing Arts Center, located at 9500 E 16th ST, Indianapolis, IN 46229.

“Never Can Say Goodbye”, through fictitious fan mail, explores the reality of legend and fame analyzed as only “Asante” can do through theatre, song, dance, and storytelling.
“Never Can Say Good-bye” highlights “The First Family of Soul” from their humble start in Gary, Indiana to the the abundant musical gifts they gave the entire world. This show combines the talents of Prep4Life, The Academy and ACT4Adults members to form a multi-generational cast.

“I chose the title “Never Can Say Goodbye” because the body of work produced by this family cannot be denied,” says Deborah Asante. “Their contribution to America’s Culture is worthy of recognition. While working on this show we will explore and celebrate their work ethic and their immense creativity.”

Thursday June 27th will be COMMUNITY NIGHT for “Never Can Say Goodbye” and the first 300 seats will be $5.
