Newsies is based on the true story of the Newsboys Strike of 1899. In this David and Goliath tale, newsboy Jack Kelly leads his “band of brothers” to stand up to the industry giant Joseph Pulitzer, while Katherine Plummer stands with them to become an early female reporter.
Agape’s all-ages cast features people ages 9-21 as newsboys. Filled with rousing songs and exhilarating choreography, Newsies is a feel-good hit sure to please the whole family!
