The Cards Against Humanity Late Night Writers Room

Presented by Scottish Rite Cathedral at Scottish Rite Cathedral

INDIANAPOLIS – Cards Against Humanity is bringing their live comedy show back to Indianapolis for two nights in August.

The show, called The Cards Against Humanity Late Night Writers Room, features improv comedians playing and acting out the best-selling party game live on stage. Friday’s show will feature comedian Beth Stelling, named Chicago’s best stand-up comedian.

“We’re only doing this show so we can expense a trip to Gen Con,” said Cards Against Humanity co-creator Max Temkin.

Tickets are $10 and are available now at CahLiveGenCon.com. The shows begin at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 650 N. Meridian St. Both are expected to sell out.

Cards Against Humanity Late Night Writers Room is the same weekend as Gen Con, the largest gaming conference in the country. The show regularly sells out theaters in Chicago and co-headlined the Murat Theater in Indianapolis with Kumail Nanjiani and Cameron Esposito in 2015.

“The show is a short walk from the convention center, so Gen Con attendees can get some badly needed fresh air and sunlight by taking a stroll to our show,” said Cards Against Humanity producer Jenn Bane.

“Don’t forget deodorant,” Bane added.
