Biography
Jessica Uçul is an American artist who uses a variety of media, including found and archival imagery and everyday objects to make photographs, collages, videos, and sculpture. Uçul’s work maintains a regard for kitsch as a cultural expression of loss. Born and raised in Franklin, Indiana, Uçul received her MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts. She currently lives and works in Indiana.
