The holiday season would not be complete without this classic holiday favorite. The Nutcracker brings to the stage over 100 local children joined by live music from the Indianapolis Children’s Choir.
Begin your holiday season as a guest at the Stahlbaum family holiday celebration and share in Clara’s dreamlike journey with her Nutcracker Prince. Watch as Clara battles the evil Rat King, dances with the Snow Maidens, and accompanies the Sugarplum Fairy through the Land of the Sweets. Enjoy the enchanted music of Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score and the beautiful voices of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir. Young and old alike will delight in this holiday tradition.

CIDE presents the Sugar Plum Fairy Dessert Party prior to each matinee performance of The Nutcracker. Guests will enjoy a treat, make a festive craft and hear the story of The Nutcracker. Guests will visit Clara’s sleigh and have a commemorative picture taken with cast members. Dessert party will be held at Zionsville Performing Arts Center (1000 Mulberry St, Zionsville, IN 46077).
