at Unknown

‘Meat Shoot’ is a project by Braydee Euliss that explores an often integral part of rural culture by the same name. Typically, a meat shoot is a community event held as a fundraiser where shotguns are fired at targets in a game of chance with meat as the winning prize. The opening reception for ‘Meat Shoot included a participatory component, and interested attendees were encouraged to arrive early and bring cash.

Braydee Euliss is an artist and artist advocate who splits her time between Muncie and Indianapolis, IN. She received her BFA in Sculpture from Ball State University School of Art in 2011. Previous and ongoing projects include ‘On the Mark, for the City’ with We’re Trying Collective, ‘Case Studies’, Final Fridays at the David Owsley Museum of Art, and WORN Jewelry.
