Join me for a two-part interactive workshop on the art of writing a historical fiction novel and understanding the psychology of creativity so you can be in it for the long haul.
Part I: We will look at what inspires us about history, how to make it come alive in our era, how to find the perfect balance of historical interest without losing the story, research ideas, keeping track of a series, and much more.
Part II: In the midst of life’s pressures, obstacles, and getting overwhelmed, we will look at the psychology of creativity and how to rewrite the rules so we can become students of ourselves to figure out how we uniquely work best. You will come away with tools to help you overcome, be the best writer you can be, and ENJOY the ride even more. We will touch on themes of branding, what makes us tick, mindfulness, a Creativity Boot Camp to really get things moving, and how to stay positive and focused.
