This exhibit runs until August 30. This event is free and open to the public during Clowes Memorial Hall lobby hours: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

The FLAVA FRESH ! initiative/mission is designed as a unique, Indianapolis, Indiana community based, mobile exhibition presentation Series created to grow and develop the career trajectory of visual artists, offer a wide spectrum of exposure, give artists the access to show fresh or recently created artworks and interact with the public who would most likely have not been aware of these artists and/or their work. It is a platform that artists can use to initiate or extend their network and contacts. The award-winning annual Series is an exchange of creative and artistic ideas and fellowship bringing together a diverse multicultural, intergenerational group of aspiring novice, emerging, early-career and established visual artists inclusive of varied degrees of expertise, discipline and style.

FLAVA FRESH’s ! unique pedagogy focuses on both the theoretical and practical components of establishing and nurturing an art practice. Our curriculum features a seven-month long, consecutive art exhibition Series presentation which offers a highly accessible spectrum of exposure for the participating artists and the community.
