J.J. Goldberg and Jonathan Tobin:

J.J. Goldberg and Jonathan Tobin: "Left vs. Right: The Battle for the Soul of American Jewry"

Presented by JCC Indianapolis and Jewish Community Relations Council at Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center (JCC Indy)

Presented by the Jewish Community Relations Council

Part of the Annual Ann Katz Festival of Books and Arts

How should the Jewish community view the Trump administration and its policies? Can Jews speak with one voice on immigration, the BDS movement and the struggle against Antisemitism from both the right and the left? What should we think about Trump’s policies toward Israel? Is the idea of a two-state solution for Israeli-Palestinian peace still relevant?

Jonathan S. Tobin, editor in chief of JNS.org and a columnist for National Review, the New York Post, the Federalist, and Haaretz and J.J. Goldberg, editor-at-large of the Forward newspaper and former US Bureau chief of the Israeli news magazine, The Jerusalem Report, will debate these and other critical issues concerning American Jewry and Israel.

“To us, the value of this program was not only that it helped us learn about the issues but also that we saw JJ and Jonathan model civil, heartfelt, and passionate debate Israel.” – Hannah Rosenthal, Past Chief Executive Officer – Milwaukee Jewish Federation
