Join select artists from the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association (IPAPA) at Indiana Landmarks Center’s Rapp Family Gallery for a special holiday show and sale.
Find unique gifts during our special holiday First Friday show, when artists from the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association present works in all mediums, including oils, acrylic, pastels, and watercolors. This annual sale is your chance to shop for original, one-of-a-kind gifts.
Plein air artists create their works outdoors, on the scene, rather than from photographs. Several artists will be present, so you can get background information on the inspiration behind your favorite paintings.
Complimentary snacks and beverages will be available at the free First Friday reception. Guests can also tour Indiana Landmarks Center at 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis. Built as a Methodist church in the nineteenth century, the restored and adapted structure holds theaters and a reception hall in addition to the gallery and Indiana Landmarks’ headquarters.
Free admission.
