Three To One is a clever collaboration of styles, genres and sounds, playing mostly music from the 60’s and 70’s era.

3 to 1 includes Tom Kiefaber, Jon McKinney and Joe O’Connell, musicians with varied backgrounds who create a unique blend of numerous genres that has generated a loyal following. The reason – you never know what to expect! Acoustic or electric, going from Al Green all the way to Warren Zevon! The band offers a different show every night and is constantly playing new material. They play familiar music in innovative ways and they are a band that’s FUN to see.

A popular draw, 3 to 1 can be found locally at the Slippery Noodle Inn,  Ale Emporium, Mousetrap Bar & Grill, Wolfies locations and many other music venues, festivals and events.

Steeped heavily in the music of classic groups like the Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, The Band, Neil Young and Little Feat, Three to One has no musical limits. You might just as easily hear music by Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Van Morrison, Phish, Widespread Panic, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd or the Beatles.

Three to One frequently adds additional players. They are a quartet a lot of time with a pedal steel player or a keyboardist, adding yet another dimension to the classic guitar-bass-drums line up. They also grow to a six piece band that celebrates the music of the Allman Brothers Band, Jerry Garcia Band (Starcat), The Band, Neil Young and the Grateful Dead.
