La Vie on Broadway

La Vie on Broadway

at Indiana Repertory Theatre - Upper Stage

Act one is all new choreography and costumes, set to contemporary Broadway songs. DK Artistic Director David Hochoy and DK dancer Stuart Coleman have used some of their favorite Broadway songs, including “The Room Where It Happens” and “Burn” from Hamilton, “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen, “Without You” from Rent, and “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables.

Act two is DK’s classic PIAF: A Celebration, using the heart-filled songs of French singer Edith Piaf from the 1940s and 1950s.

In the Lobby: Paintings inspired by Broadway songs will be on display in the IRT Upperstage lobby during La Vie on Broadway performances. Artist Marianne Glick has interpreted her favorite Broadway songs into beautiful abstract oil paintings.
