This vibrant dance style, a close relative to hip hop, was born out of the music revolution in Chicago during the post-disco era, giving birth to house music. If you enjoy the idea of grooving to an up tempo beat, then you have to try house dance. The style is mostly known for its unique version of footwork. It is also heavily influenced by Jazz, Latin, African, Funk and Hip Hop styles. This class will be a beginner class in which we will slowly break down fundamental grooves and footwork patterns so you can have more tools to express yourself to the music. It’s a great aerobic workout so be ready to get a little sweaty! Sneakers are recommended. Ages: 15+
