The first solo exhibition for Israeli-born, South Africa- and UK-trained, abstract painter Tamar Kander opens in February. Kander, an Indiana resident for the past thirty plus years, lives and works in Brown County. Her distinctive style has won her recognition and landed her work in important collections here and abroad, including the permanent collection of the Indiana State Museum.
Kander’s exhibit, Scratch the Surface, opens at Long-Sharp Gallery Indianapolis on February 7 and runs through April 4, 2020. An opening reception with the artist will take place on February 7th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm and is sponsored by Conrad Indianapolis and EvanTodd Salon & Spa.
