Singer-pianist Michael Feinstein, “The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook,” is joined by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester for an evening of timeless music.
“The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook” returns with a special evening of timeless music. Known for his high-profile collaborations and his many projects for public radio and television, singer and pianist Feinstein is founder of the Great American Songbook Foundation and artistic director for the Center for the Performing Arts.
Joining him as special guest is singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester, whose hits have included the Top 10 single “Midnight Blue,” the Grammy-nominated “Don’t Cry Out Loud,” the Grammy-winning “You Should Hear How She Talks About You,” and Academy Award nominees “The Promise” and “Through The Eyes Of Love.” Her songs have been recorded by Barbra Streisand, Roberta Flack, Dusty Springfield, Alison Krauss, Kenny Loggins and many other artists.
