The Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis presents an educational program for 5th-8th grade students regarding the ways youth expressed their resistance in the face of oppression during the Holocaust.
In conjunction with the Indianapolis Opera’s four-month Holocaust Remembrance project, Brundibar & Vedem, the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis presents “Youth Voices of Resistance” for 5th through 8th grade. This event emphasizes learning, community building and commemoration. The theme is Youth Voices of Resistance and will focus on experiences from Theresienstadt to explore the varied ways youth expressed resistance in the face of oppression during the Holocaust, including art, music, and sports. A Facing History and Ourselves educator will help facilitate the program.
