The Jewish Community Center presents a screening of The Boys of Terezin, a film highlighting the stories of five Holocaust survivors.
In conjunction with the Indianapolis Opera’s four-month Holocaust Remembrance project, Brundibar & Vedem, the Jewish Community Center presents a screening of the 2011 documentary, The Boys of Terezin. The film shares the stories of five Holocaust survivors who were kept at the Terezin concentration camp. The men discuss the creation of their underground newspaper, Vedem, and speak with the Northwest Boys Choir who perform the world premiere opera, Vedem, based around this story. This profound, poignant film demonstrates the power of music to save lives.
