The City of Carmel’s ceremony remembers victims of the Holocaust in conjunction with the National Days of Remembrance events.
As part of our postponed Brundibar & Vedem project (now slated for our 2020-2021 season), we are pleased to provide this virtual content as a commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of concentration camps across Europe. Join us on Facebook for the city of Carmel’s virtual Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony on April 24th at 12 noon. Our resident artists will be featured singing excerpts from Vedem, and Vedem composer Lori Laitman will be a guest speaker. Six candles will be lit in memory of the six million lives lost during one of history’s darkest hours.
The event is completely free and open to the public.
