These performances are the culmination of The Sandy Feldstein National Percussion Festival: a non-competitive performance and evaluation opportunity that shines a spotlight on the nation’s most outstanding scholastic concert percussion ensembles.
The Sandy Feldstein National Percussion Festival provides a world-class educational opportunity for percussion ensembles. Key elements include recorded and written evaluation from a distinguished panel of percussion educators, a post-concert clinic with an evaluator, student master classes, and full participation in the Music for All National Festival. The non-competitive atmosphere provides a place for growth, cooperative encouragement, and mutual respect among programs, students, parents, and more. In addition to presenting their own performance, participating groups also have opportunities to enjoy concerts from other outstanding ensembles.
No admission – this event is free and open to the public.
