About the event and collaboration
The collaboration between two of central Indiana’s prominent arts organizations will offer patrons 21 and over unique access to see how more than 40 Stutz artists create their works. Artists will be working in their studios, be available to answer questions about their craft and have artworks available for purchase.

“This new partnership with Stutz Artists created a successful evening last year. We’re building on that success with a fantastic event that will give guests a behind the scenes look at how artists create their works coupled with great music, food and drink,” says Ryan Evans Penrod Society Chairman.

Art being created in studios will include oil and watercolor paintings, porcelain painting, sculpture, jewelry and more. “This event is a prelude to our annual Open House coming up in April,” says Stutz Artists Association Board President Amy Carroll. “Our member artists are creating artworks now to be ready for the Open House. Magic in the Making is a sneak peek experience for guests to see what’s coming.”
