Ending the Silence

Ending the Silence

Presented by Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library at Online/Virtual Space

The Kurt Vonnegut Museum * Library partners with the National Association on Mental Illness – Indiana(NAMI) for a virtual Mental Health Awareness Month program entitled “Ending the Silence.” Join this free workshop aimed at helping families learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition.

Audience members can ask questions and gain understanding of an often-misunderstood topic. Through dialogue, we can help grow the movement to end stigma.

NAMI Indiana is the state organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. We are a grassroots public charity helping people living with serious mental illnesses, their families and friends. We support local NAMI Affiliates, train volunteer leaders, provide continuing education for professionals, and partner for systems change at the state level.

NAMI Indiana provides legislative advocacy, support, education, and training programs for people and groups across Indiana.
