We love the works of Shakespeare because of their unique ability to cut through time, even 430 years of time, to speak on topics relevant to society. In these particularly difficult times for people of color in our city and throughout the country, we wish to continue our part of the conversation, bringing light to issues and inspiring change through the power of art.

We present to you Past Words Present Times, a virtual video offering featuring several Indianapolis Shakespeare Company actors performing Shakespearean monologues that speak to them about present times.

We invite you to watch, listen, and learn. There is so much to be learned from one another and we hope through the words of Shakespeare, we can help continue the conversations that ignite action.
