The Unheard: Indy's Response to Injustice

The Unheard: Indy's Response to Injustice

Presented by Harrison Center at Harrison Center for the Arts

In July, the Harrison Center will present several new exhibitions. Courtland Blade’s “The Unheard: Indy’s Response to Injustice,” captures spaces around Indy that are significant to our city’s current fight against racial injustice.

Fiber artist Lucy Burton will present, “Confessions of a Joy Seeker.” This collection explores the tension between Heaven and Earth through woven microfilament banners.

Photographer Emily Schwank will present “100 Houses: Documenting Social Distance Porching.” Schwank’s series features photographs that capture the Social Distance Porching movement during the Covid-19 quarantine in Indianapolis.

All art will be available for purchase in our online store beginning Monday, July 6. In person viewings after First Friday are available by social distance appointment (contact speacock@harrisoncenter.org).
