About the Instructor
In addition to nearly 30 years as a Meisner acting technique instructor, Martha teaches acting to MFA students at Indiana University in Bloomington as a member of the adjunct faculty. She directed Proof by David Auburn, and she performed for seven seasons at Brown County Playhouse. She has acted and directed for Jewish Theatre of Bloomington and Cardinal Stage. In Indy, she has acted and directed at the Phoenix Theatre for many years including directing Indecent by Paula Vogel, The Christians by Lucas Hnath, The Action Against Sol Schumann by Jeffrey Sweet, and My Name is Asher Lev by Chaim Potok.
