Our lives are constantly bombarded with stressors that physically and mentally drain
us, and this is especially true during the year 2020. The pandemic, quarantine, and jobs with potentially dangerous working environments can leave us overwhelmed. If left untreated, these stressors can negatively impact our energy and health.

Thankfully, there are several means that can help us cope with these stressors and even traumas, and writing is one of those means. Both experienced and inexperienced writers use writing as a tool to achieve healing, wellness, and examine traumas. Writing for Wellness, or Expressive Writing, is not about writing to impress others or even being grammatically correct. Writing for Wellness means writing about whatever is weighing on your heart and mind.

In this workshop, we will respond to several writing prompts by sharing our thoughts with the page. You do not need to have any prior experience to join this class, only the desire to write your truth. Sharing will always be optional, allowing writers the fullest capacity for honesty.
