John Vessels most recently appeared at the Phoenix in 2019’s Winston’s Big Day playing a dozen hilarious characters from Santa to a frantic stage manager. He received Broadway World’s 2019 Regional “Best Actor in a Play” for his work on last fall’s The Legend of Georgia McBride. John is the title star of the retro-fabulous An Evening with Lillian Baxter which played in 2019 at the Phoenix and the Fringe Theatre in Key West with his partner Jay Schwandt. John, a writer and voice/acting teacher, has also been seen at Beef & Boards and the Actors Theatre of Indiana.
