Indianapolis fuzz-rockers Moxxie play a set of original songs at the Center’s Studio Theater, with multi-camera coverage livestreamed in HD video and stereo sound.
Live at the Center sponsored by Allied Solutions is a new series of livestreamed concerts featuring local and regional artists in genres from jazz and classical to soul and indie rock. Moxxie, the heavy-hitting fuzz-rock duo of guitarist-vocalist Jessie Phelps and drummer Rocky Rodriguez, was named 2019 Gold winner of IndyStar’s Best Local Band or Musical Artist poll. Since 2016, the band has performed throughout Indianapolis, from the Indy Pride Festival to WFYI’s Small Studio Sessions to regular performances at Hi-Fi Indy and the historic Vogue nightclub. Moxxie has shared bills with the likes of Lizzo, Florence and the Machine, K. Flay, AWOL Nation and 311.
