The Laramie Project

Presented by Marian University at Online/Virtual Space

The Marian University Theatre program is proud to present a virtual performance of The Laramie Project. This special production will be available to stream beginning October 23 and remain available through October 29, 2020. About the show: When Matthew Shepard, an openly gay college student, was murdered in 1998, Moisés Kaufman and the members of the Tectonic Theater Project conducted a series of interviews with members of his hometown, Laramie, Wyoming. The Laramie Project, the play that arose from these interviews and journal entries, news reports, and other found texts, examines the ideas and issues surrounding prejudice, justice, acceptance, and community.
