6th Annual NICE (Noblesville Interdisciplinary Creativity Expo) Creative Presentations Event
Please note the original date of Nov 7 has CHANGED: it is now scheduled for Saturday December 19 (time TBA).
Due to COVID-19, this year our 6th Annual NICE presentations event will be a little bit different than in years past. We are still working on what it will look like, but depending on the number of inspired submissions we receive it will either be 1) a virtual presentations event via Zoom, or 2) a film presentation of the inspired artistic submissions. Creatives of all kinds are encouraged to create new artwork, writings, and music/songs inspired by the four selected passages and our behind-the-scenes podcast discussions. Our 2020 literary selections are: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (originally published in 1847), Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell (originally published in 1936), Dracula by Bram Stoker (originally published in 1897), and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (originally published in two volumes in 1868 and 1869).

You can be inspired by our four selected stand-alone passages or the entire books (your choice!).

NICE is an annual literature-based project that includes workshops and a presentations event. NICE offers the opportunity to discuss and be (re)inspired by four classic literary passages selected each year. We look forward to sharing the amazing inspired pieces created by our NICE participants this year!
