From composing new things to singing old tunes, Ben will illustrate and discuss how to fully entertain audiences through monologue, song, and storytelling. He’ll cover lyric writing, adaptation tips, and handy ways to add acting back into music.

About the Instructor
Ben is an Indianapolis-based playwright, composer, and performer. He has written over 40 plays performed on the stage and has appeared as an actor in three times as many on stages across the Midwest including the Phoenix Theatre Indianapolis. Ben was honored as an “Indy Artists VIP” by the Indianapolis Foundation in 2016 and has continued to tell stories during the pandemic via his Patreon (patreon.com/benasaykwee) and other forms of online entertainment.
