Oaklandon Civic Theatre offers a haven for artists to create via a variety of expression. We offer works of local playwrights, as well as classical and contemporary plays written by nationally known authors. Our productions are designed to address the emotional and intellectual needs of our community by ranging from being simply entertaining to being thought-provoking, controversial and enlightening.

Originally built in 1890, the OCT historic building was rebuilt twice following fires and is one of the oldest theatre structures in Indianapolis.   The building is the holder of a "notable" distinction by the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Architecture.
